Sonography Prototype

A prototype probe device for ultrasound was evaluated to see if it would facilitate teaching medical students about correct needle placement and injections. The Sentara Center for Healthcare Simulation and Immersive Learning (SCSIL) consulted with me to design the experiment and measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the prototype device. Medical students were recruited to test this prototype on a gel block phantom. I was tasked with designing the experiment and analyzing the results. Analysis was performed on the number of attempts, time to completion, and satisfaction with using the device.
