Human Factors Consideration for Patients: A Cursory Review of Telehealth guidelines
With the Covid-19 pandemic, the use of telehealth has increased. This sudden increase in telehealth usage allowed many patients to meet their healthcare provider remotely but also resulted in a lack of guidelines or standards. A literature search was conducted for all available telehealth guidelines that could be found online. We recommend human factors considerations to improve these guidelines for patients to overcome barriers associated with telehealth technologies.
